These terms apply when you use onemorelap.club. By making a film, you agree to them. They’re short, so please read them.
What One More Lap is
A free website that makes a personal film and cards of Earth’s journey around the Sun since your date of birth. What we save about you, and why, is in the privacy policy.
Your details
- Enter your own name, date of birth and email address, or someone else’s only with their permission.
- If you’re under 13, or under the age you need to be to agree to this where you live, ask a parent or guardian to make the film with you.
- Don’t put anything offensive, hateful or someone else’s private information in the name field.
Your film and cards
You can download, keep and share your film and cards, including on Instagram and other social networks, for personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t sell them, use them in ads, or remove the One More Lap logo.
The film’s design, animation, logo and soundtrack belong to One More Lap. Star data from the HYG database is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Accuracy
Planet positions and paths are calculated to scale, and we work hard to keep them right. Some things are drawn for clarity, as the film and the home page explain: the Sun and planets are enlarged, and the Milky Way is a rendered model, not a photo. One More Lap is astronomy, not astrology, and is for fun and curiosity. Don’t rely on it for navigation, science or anything important.
Using the site fairly
Don’t try to break, overload or scrape the site, or use it to collect other people’s details. We may block access that does.
No guarantees
The site is provided as it is. We may change it, pause it or stop it at any time, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, One More Lap isn’t liable for any loss that comes from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date below. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
